How are the diode lasers used?The 810-nm diode lasers are primarily used for hair removal and, occasionally, for treatment of vascular lesions. The 1320-nm diode lasers have been used for nonablative laser resurfacing and treatment of acne scarring. The 1450-nm diode lasers have been used for nonablative laser resurfacing, treatment of acne scarring, and the treatment of active acne (Table 54-9).
