What are artificial penile nodules?

Objects placed permanently under the skin of the prepuce or penile shaft, purportedly to enhance the partner’s pleasure during intercourse. Other names include tancho nodules and bulleetus. It is most commonly practiced in East Asian nations (e.g., Thailand and Philippines). In Japan, members of the yakuza, or Japanese criminal underground, often have artificial penis nodules.
