Describe the clinical presentation of MCC. Over 50% of patients present with a solitary, rapidly growing, erythematous to violaceous nodule approximately 0.5 to 5.0 cm in diameter on the head, face, or neck. Other areas may be involved, including the extremities and trunk (Fig. 47-2). Most cases are seen in caucasians. |
