Bowen’s disease

Bowen’s disease usually presents as a single erythematous scaly patch or plaque on sun-exposed skin (see Figure 11.2). Bowen’s disease is a form of intra-epidermal carcinoma in situ, which may progress to an invasive SCC and is also referred to as intra-epidermal SCC (Buchanan and Courtenay, 2006).
