Where do you usually acquire Pseudomonas folliculitis? In your hot tub. Pseudomonas folliculitis is typically associated with hot tub use (hot tub folliculitis). Less commonly, it is associated with whirlpools or swimming pools. It is usually associated with P. aeruginosa serotype O:11, although other serotypes have also been reported. Pseudomonas folliculitis has also been reported as a complication of depilatories used for the removal of leg hair.
